Austin Reed & Stylo thrilled at VM Award!

Earlier this year, Austin Reed approached Stylo with their initial ideas for presenting their Autumn/Winter fashion windows. Stylo worked closely with them to ensure their concepts were turned into reality – presenting the clothes in an eye-catching display. We were thrilled when this won the accolade of ‘Best Window Graphic’ at this year’s Visual Merchandising Awards.

The brief called for easy-to-change windows: allowing Austin Reed to turn around new promotions “on a sixpence” if they want! Stylo used versatile graphics which can be installed by in-store staff, keeping the costs and timescales manageable.

The window display featured StaticGraphics – which the client specifically requested for their design. It created a “ghost-effect” for maximum window appeal. Stylo’s magnetic MagniGraphix is used at the rear to give excellent economic changeability for every season.

Stylo also produced the window graphics for the winner of ‘Best Out of Town Window’ designed by Gorgeous for White Stuff. This featured life-sized caravans, striking backdrops and our easy-to-remove window vinyls. All aboard the White Stuff Princess!

 TK Maxx!  Follow Finnegan!!
TK Maxx have put their stores on the map in Birmingham…. with some creative graphics from Stylo! They wanted highly visible graphics to launch their new Home Sense outlet and to revamp their existing Birmingham store.

Stylo recommended StaticGraphics – they look great, but are also very cost-effective because the stunning graphics can be easily installed by in-store staff. TK Maxx were not only delighted with the high-quality, life-sized images, but also with the cost management as well.

Stylo created a corridor of easily changeable lightbox graphics along one side of the building - creating a colourful vibrant exterior, attracting passers-by in.

For their new Home Sense outlet, TK Maxx wanted advertising immediately around the site. Stylo recommended a variety of different graphic solutions to generate an impact. This included strategic placement of durable pavement vinyls, PVC banners on lamp post & railings and massive window vinyls displaying all the latest bargains!

Stylo were intrigued when asked by Judith Cowan to help deliver her exciting art to the unsuspecting public around Kings Cross. She frames her works in three unexpected locations: under the York Way canal bridge, along the Goodsway and the old Fish & Coal Building’s windows.

Finnegan’s Teeth is a visual journey seen through the eyes of the fictitious animal Finnegan, accompanied by the voices of the street. To turn Judith’s inspirational vision into reality, Stylo supplied striking, unusual graphics.

The canal bridge location was challenging! Stylo’s used durable BrickWrap as it is designed to be applied straight onto cold, crumbly bricks. And …. it had to be delivered & installed using a boat!!

Judith’s art for the Goodsway needed giant-sized panels: making the ordinary become extraordinary. The Fish and Coal buildings are derelict and so the robust, durable, foamex panels had to be applied externally. The final work is truly thought-provoking!

Call Stylo if you have some challenging exterior graphic requirements – we’re used to delivering unusual, high-profile graphics!
