Award Scoop at 2007
Visual Merchandising and Display Awards
It is not often that we get the chance to shout about our work, but Stylo are proud to announce our success at this year’s Visual Merchandising and Display Awards.
Welcome Break scooped the Best Exterior Graphics award with runners up honours going to Coffee Republic (Best In Store Branding) and Paul UK (Best non-Fashion Retail Concept).
Welcome Break was looking to significantly improve the external appearance of their service stations throughout the UK. The locations (split across the highway) have been provided with unique, site-specific exterior graphics, and each set includes local area photography. All the external signs were produced using an extremely durable printed, four colour process with a life span of up to five years.
The RVM judging panel also acknowledged the work behind both Coffee Republic and Paul UK’s new store concepts.
The Coffee Republic project included the clever use of innovative bespoke wallpaper graphics which was produced individually for each franchise as it opened, allowing each one to have graphics to suit their particular location.
For Paul UK, Stylo used the latest printing techniques to produce traditional-looking menu boards that can be changed by staff several times a day (from breakfast to afternoon tea) which are robust and always look professional.
