Stylographics, won a coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2003 for continuous innovation in the production and supply of display and point-of-sale graphics. Known by clients as “a toyshop for designers”, we offer the latest technology and creative ideas for graphics in sectors such as retail, exhibition and museums.
The only supplier of complete graphics solutions to win an award in the innovation category this year, Stylographics demonstrated innovation across the entire business to secure its place as a market leader within the highly competitive graphics industry.
In addition to demonstrating innovation in supplying conventional printing services to its customer base, the company also exploited new technologies and materials so that it can print with very high quality directly onto a vast range of rigid and flexible materials. These materials include textiles, floorings, wallpaper, wood, acrylics, glass, 3-dimensional materials and metals.
More recently the company has developed a highly durable printing process directly onto Ceramic Tiles.
A patented system has also been developed, which enables easily changeable graphics and menu systems to be deployed rapidly and inexpensively across a network of retail outlets.
“We are in a business where continuous innovation is paramount for success and allows us to supply our retail, exhibition and museum customers with the absolute latest in both technology and ideas for their graphics display,” says Simon Olley, Managing Director, Stylographics. He continues: “So it is enormously gratifying to have recognition for the innovative approaches we take which are not only in processes and equipment but also in the way we service our customers”.
Along with recognition for Stylographics’ patented invention for display of graphics and menu systems and its leading edge production processes and equipment, the Queen’s Award also commends the innovation in work practices at Stylographics. These have lead to both superior customer service and creative solutions for customer problems as well as efficient distribution and installation methods which are key to delivering complete graphics solutions to retail and exhibition customers across the UK and into Europe.
