SPRING IS HERE! JONES BOOTMAKER INSTALL SS12 GRAPHICS

The story of Jones Bootmaker began in 1857 when Alfred Jones and his wife Emma, opened a footwear shop in Bayswater, London.  He was one of the first traders to install electric lighting in his shop, and many people flocked to the store to witness this new phenomenon.

Alfred and Emma Jones went on to have nine sons who all went into the shoe trade, opening their own stores under the name of A Jones & Sons. These stores led the field by introducing stocks of ready-made shoes in 3 different widths and started a tradition in shoe fitting.

Internationally renowned as the host of world class events, Silverstone is also famed for its exhilarating driving experiences, sumptuous corporate entertainment and prestigious conference facilities.

Stylo were invited by event production company Some Bright Spark to the new Silverstone Wing in the heart of the world famous Grand Prix Circuit, to provide the graphics for a Volkswagen event that was taking place.

ROYAL EXHIBITION OF MEDIEVAL MANUSCRIPTS OPENS AT BRITISH LIBRARY

Queen Elizabeth II opened a new exhibition with a royal connection at the British Library on Thursday.

The exhibition titled Royal Manuscripts: The Genius of Illumination features illuminated manuscripts collected by the Kings and Queens of England over 700 years from the 9th to 16th centuries.

For the first time, the riches of the Library’s Royal collection will be presented together in one exhibition, providing an insight into the past and understanding of Royalty in the middle ages.

PRIMARK OPENS STORE IN DORTMUND GERMANY

Retail giant Primark has opened its fourth German store in Dortmund’s shopping centre, Thier-Galerie.  The space covers over 4,830sqm across 3 floors.

One of the central focal points of the store is the elevator shaft.  Stylo manufactured the self-adhesive film using our unique product “Ultra-clear”.  The beauty of this material is its transparent effect so you are not completely blocking out the glazing, but it still gives you a striking effect. Also in the areas where you don’t print the film is totally clear so its like you are still looking through glass.
