Marc Jacobs - Selfridges

For Fall ‘24, Marc Jacobs took over Selfridges in a collaboration that redefined what a retail experience can be. At Stylo, we were tasked with bringing this vision to life, blending artistry with fashion. The result? A stunning three-week pop-up installation that was pure eye candy. Once the campaign concluded, the show didn’t stop — our installation smoothly transitioned to Regent Street, continuing the bold, artistic journey

Paintshop

Our paint shop is where the details came alive. From custom finishes to intricate textures, our talented team meticulously prepared every piece. We worked tirelessly on materials and finishes, ensuring that every surface was ready to captivate. The care put into each element made sure it would stand out and last, whether it was under the spotlight in Selfridges or lighting up Regent Street.

Scenic Painting

This is where artistry meets technique. With every statue, column, and plinth, our scenic artists applied their craft, hand-painting each piece to perfection. From delicate shading to bold strokes, the pieces were given the depth and dimension needed to elevate the space. Every detail, no matter how small, was carefully considered, ensuring the installation was an artwork in itself.

In the Store

Once the pieces were ready, the transformation began. Our team worked around the clock to bring the designs into the store, setting up the frame walls wrapped in printed fabric, placing the statues, columns, and plinths with precision, and installing bespoke shelving and hanging rails. The store was no longer just a retail space; it was a runway for art. The installation created a seamless, immersive atmosphere that captured the essence of Marc Jacobs’ Fall ‘24 collection.

The Finished Article

And just like that, a retail space became an art gallery. The finished installation was bold, elegant, and undeniably eye-catching. From the intricately designed walls to the hand-painted sculptures, every inch of the store radiated luxury and creativity. When the campaign concluded, it was moved effortlessly to Regent Street, continuing to captivate in a new, equally iconic setting. Retail, but make it art.
